ROLES

There are a number of roles that the Lord may lead you into:

Musician You need to be able to blend in with the group. There are no soloists in the All Souls Worship Band. We currently use guitar, drums, bass, flutes, and piano.

On-Mike singer You must be able to blend in with a group of other singers. You must be able to hear yourself, and the singer to your left and right in order to properly blend. 

Off-Mike singer If you are not an accomplished singer yet, you may be called to be part of the group of praisers who are not part of the blend that will go out over the loudspeakers. This allows you and the group time to determine if the Lord has truly called you to the ministry.

Soundperson This person is critical to the proper blending of instruments and vocals.

Overhead projectionist This individual uses SongShow Plus and Microsoft Powerpoint to display announcements, songs and liturgy on the wall.  PC experience is helpful.  Must be flexible and able to work under pressure when unexpected changes to the order of service are required.
