Missions and evangelism

Our mission statement is “To know Christ and make Him known.”

We make Jesus known in several ways locally:

  • Leigh Meadows Apartment ministry. We have partnered with Leigh Meadows in an attempt to be Jesus to the residents there.  We provide a monthly food closet, help with tutoring, teach piano, offer a men’s bible study and have held school supply drives.

  • Sulzbacher Center men’s ministry. Every Monday evening, a group from our church host a men’s meeting at the Sulzbacher Center, a homeless center in downtown Jacksonville.

  • Metro Kids Konnection partnership. Every summer, our church spends a week at the Cleveland Arms Apartments in the Northside of Jacksonville partnering with Pastor Terry Lane and his Metro Kids Konnection ministry.  In the past we have helped tutor, have taught bible stories and life lessons, played games, and made some crafts.

  • Kairos Prision Ministry, International. For the last 15 years, All Souls has been an active participant in the Kairos prison ministry.  Twice a year, a group of our men go to Putnam Correctional Facility to lead a reteat to help introduce Jesus to the inmates.

  • Salvation Army. Operation Christmas Child and Salvation Army Every Christmas, we partner with these ministries. Community Service Nights. Our youth ministry heads out each Tuesday evening to bless our local community through acts of service and ministry to children, teens and the elderly, in an attempt to show them the love of Jesus.

  • First Coast Women’s Services. Each year we actively raise support for this crisis pregnancy center through their Baby Bottle Drive. Learn more about First Coast Women's Services.

We also support (financially and spiritually) several missionaries as a body and through small group contributions:

  • Anglican Frontier MissionsAFM concentrates their efforts in the 10/40 window, with an emphasis on the 25 least evangelized people groups. Our relationship with this ministry goes back over 10 years.

  • Carol Stephens. She is a missionary to the Dominican Republic.

  • The Arnold Family. They are missionaries in West Africa.
