The mission statement of the church is "To Know Christ and to Make Him Known".

The work of the World Missions Committee is one of several ways that All Souls endeavors to make Christ known. In Genesis 12:3, God promises through Abraham to bless all the nations of the earth.

In Matthew 28:18, Jesus commands His disciples to make disciples of all nations. As children of Abraham, we are heirs of the promise to bless the nations, and as followers of Jesus, we are ambassadors of reconciliation between God and man accomplished through Jesus' death on the cross, and proclaimers of hope of new life available because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The World Missions Committee serves the church by being a catalyst for finding our place, individually and collectively, in world missions and by guiding the efforts that we undertake in reaching the nations.

While there are many worthwhile individuals, groups, and opportunities to be involved with, our direction is to focus our energy and resources (material and spiritual) towards a few efforts, in order to make the greatest impact.

Specifically our focus is on Unreached People Groups (ethnic groups with little or no Christian  witness) and Muslims (who represent the largest block of Unreached People Groups).

This focus does not exclude our support of other worthy work where there is a church already established, but it  does help set the priorities of the World Missions Committee as we seek to be wise stewards of the resources that the Lord has entrusted to us.

In Matthew 24:14, Jesus says that the gospel will be preached to all nations and then the end will come. In obedience to the clear commands of scripture, and with joyful expectation of the return of Jesus, we join the church worldwide in extending the Word of life to the ends of the earth.
