Pastoral care is the care of souls. The term derives from the Latin word for shepherd. Just like Jesus, the Good Shepherd, knows His sheep and laid down His life for them, so we care for one another in His name through prayer and counseling.

The clergy of the Parish are always available to you. Call the office to arrange a meeting. The church recording always lists the cell phone number of one of the clergy in case of an emergency need.

Both clergy and lay ministers are available to you for prayer in hospitals before surgery and other medical procedures.

If possible, please let the office know in advance when and where you have surgery scheduled. We also have people available to meet and pray with you about other life situations that are ongoing for a period of time, as many of life's transitions are.

Various forms of other prayer support are also offered. If you would like to add your name or the name of a loved one to the Sunday Prayers of the People, call the church office.
